Montipora cebuensis, like other SPS corals, thrives under stable, high-quality reef conditions:
Lighting: Moderate to high PAR (200–350). Strong actinic lighting enhances fluorescence.
Flow: Moderate to strong, but avoid direct blasting to prevent tissue recession.
Placement: Mid to upper reef zones with room to expand laterally.
Feeding: Primarily photosynthetic, but benefits from occasional broadcast feeding with coral foods like Reef Roids or amino acids.
Temperature: 24–26°C (75–79°F)
Alkalinity: 8–12 dKH
Calcium: 420–450 ppm
Magnesium: 1300–1400 ppm
Nitrates: 2–10 ppm
Phosphates: 0.03–0.08 ppm
