Description
Acanthodoras cataphractus, commonly called the Chocolate Talking Catfish or Spiny Catfish, is a peaceful nocturnal doradid catfish from South America that grows to about 11–12 cm and thrives in calm, well-structured aquariums. It is hardy, secretive during the day, and produces audible “clicking” sounds with its pectoral spines.
